Message we had a case here in Edmonton in 2004 where two older guys were street racing their supercharged 'vettes after a show & shine.

One guy lost it, jumped the curb and killed a 55 yr old woman out for her evening walk.

Went through 2 levels of court, the guy was claiming (get this) his traction control system failed, causing him to lose control. Basically tried to blame the car for his fuck up. The courts rightly decided that he was at fault. He even tried to appeal to the Canadian Supreme Court (nice having a lawyer wife to look this up for me) and was punted. No grounds for his appeal, but he still kept on with his traction control defense.

case citation: Alberta Court of Appeal decision

Idiot is serving time currently. Woman is dead. Corvette is fine. Car was never the problem in the first place.

Regards,
